Director of Catering & Special Events
With 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, Jena Barker founded and operated a successful company that helped generate millions of dollars for non-profit and community causes across the nation. She is a native Texan whose expertise in business, community, hospitality and event leadership has garnered her special recognition. Her extensive events background includes: serving on a variety of community boards, running a successful design business with dynamic clients and having a well-rounded career in interior space development.

Her vision for creativity and focus on detail, along with collaborative leadership, are her life passions. She can trace this back to her childhood – when she spent hours with her parents in the kitchen, garden and on the family farm, experimenting ways to prepare dishes. Today at Lombardi Catering, she most enjoys her interaction with the chefs, servers and staff, working to create the perfect experience for guests and clients.

In addition, Jena is a Wine Sommelier. She graduated from the Napa Valley Wine Academy and the CIA Greystone, both in Napa, California, and the International Culinary Center in New York with her credentials in wine; thus she is also educated in the culinary art behind them. She holds accreditation from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), as an American Wine Expert (AWE) and as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW).  She is attending her Masters in Champagne Studies in Reims, France in the fall of 2017.
